Dr. Birch replaced my right knee one year ago, and it has been a wonderful decision! No more pain and great mobility! I am returning to have my left knee replaced this year. He is very calm, competent, and caring!

Dr. Birch is very nice and easy to talk to. I had been putting off a steroid injection in my knee for years, because my the top of shoulder injection many years ago was brutal, done out of state. Well Dr. Birch put all those fears to rest. No pain whatsoever in my knee. I will be back for the other knee. Thank you Dr. Birch and staff.

Dr Lomedico is excellent! Extremely knowledgeable and kind. She takes time to explain everything and goes over options. Great bedside manner! However her receptionists lack communication and don’t seem interested. When I called to find out why my telehealth appt did not happen the day before, when I was scheduled for one with Dr Lomedico, the gentleman answering kept yawning and showed no concern as to the break down in communication. It does take quite awhile to get through to a live person also. A little frustrating!

Dr. Birch & his staff actually took the time to Listen to my concerns about my knee. Given my history, the severity of my symptoms etc. he recommended full knee replacement…but, not without informing me of the potential risks involved. I trust that Dr. Birch will do a great job on my knee. He came highly recommended from another orthopedic surgeon in Santa Barbara.
